A Tender Masculine
This body of work aims to learn itself and express the significance and importance of “a tender masculine.” Traditionally, masculinity is often defined in opposition to femininity, but Wandile seeks to challenge this binary view. “I find it difficult to understand what masculine means when it is compared to its gender opposite, for then we’d have to go down a rabbit hole where we could define ‘feminine’ as ‘not masculine.’”
Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
